The day we learned about this project, I couldn't find my headphones. I received the words "cut" and "hook" and I thought to myself immediately, "It'd be cool to hook my headphones to myself, so I wouldn't spend so much time looking for them." I decided to use my friend's hook shaped earrings and hook my headphones to them, so they would always stay connected to/close to my ears. The 4 steps are the process of pulling my headphones dangling from the hook earrings up and into my ears. I slowly took steps pulling the main cord downwards and the headphones latched on to the earrings slowly moved closer to my ears. The third step is my headphones directly touching my ears and the fourth step is my headphones finally entering my ears to listen to music. I edited the 4 pictures a little on photoshop to make the headphones slowly moving upwards more apparent. The backgrounds are a little faded because they are not important to the main idea of the photo collage.

Project 4
This is the image I chose to make for the cartoon/super power project. When I first started this project, I didn't know what super power I wanted, so I thought it'd be cool to make a cartoon. I've always wanted to make a picture of an area with a wall covered in graffiti and have a cartoon character walking away carrying spray paint. I didn't know where to begin, so I decided to start making the design of the graffiti on the wall. I chose to create a GRiZ logo because I was listening to him that day, so it was on my mind. I got really into making the graffiti logo and liked how it was going. I decided that I would just use the logo as my main picture, because it can represent someone or something. Every great super hero in history has a logo of their own which represents them. In my opinion, I think GRiZ has super powers when it comes to making music. I don't think their are very many limitations on what is considered a super power, so I figured this could be considered one. So, this design is a way of showing a super power from a different perspective rather than the normal super powers like invisibility or flight.

MicroProject 3
The "spot" I chose to claim as my own is an enormous tree near the front entrance of my dorm, Morrison Tower. This is the place I usually go to smoke a cigarette on stressful days. I've met numerous people at this spot and always seem to have interesting/unordinary conversations with people. For example, my friends and I were by this tree arguing whether dolphins rape humans or not. In the middle of this argument, a random female walked outside through the door, heard us arguing, and immediately chimed in our conversation agreeing that they do in fact rape humans. This is just one example of many odd incidents at this spot. There are three noticeable sections of this design. The tree with the background, the clearer almost blacktop looking ground, and the moon. The tree is in the middle because it is enormous and is the first thing I think of when I think of this spot. The background is a less intense green and slightly more faded than the blacktop looking ground. The blacktop looking ground is supposed to represent the spot I've claimed as my own. It is much clearer because I am much more familiar with this spot than the rest of the area in the background. The moon is intensely luminescent to represent how I see the moon. I am usually stressed out when I go to my spot to smoke, so I don't like to think about anything really. I usually just look around, and if the moon is out, I can't take my eyes off it. Its glow some nights is incredibly bright and nothing else is more interesting around to look at. I think I appreciate the moon a lot, because I can just stare in awe and don't have to think at all. Hopefully this explanation is sufficient, cause I need to get to math class. :D
